Registration is now open for Green Fleet Exposition (GFEx) VIII. On behalf of Niagara College, Niagara Region, NAFA Ontario, City of Toronto, Ministry of Transportation, Fleet Challenge Ontario and Electric Mobility Canada we invite you to join us again this year for GFEx.
The GFEx team has partnered this year with the Ontario College Motive Power Convention to provide our professionals with more green content over this very exciting event. Please join us on June 24th June 27th in Niagara.

Celebration Luncheon for PEMS and HIRS™ stakeholders and supportershosted by FCO at the Radisson Admiral Waterfront Hotel. This is to acknowledge the contributions and ongoing support of those who have helped to develop the ground breaking new technology HIRS™ (Hybrid Idle Reduction System) as part of the FCO Police and EMS (PEMS) Vehicle Idling Reduction Demonstration Project.

Canadian Renewable Fuels Summit, Ottawa, Ontario- theme was Growing Beyond Oil: Delivering Canada’s Energy Future and attracted participants from across North America.

Conservation Areas Workshop-TRCA,Collingwood, Ontario
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority held a workshop attended by members from across Ontario. R. Smith presented an overview of the E3 and Fleet Review program. TRCA recently completed an E3 Fleet Review and Jim Tucker, coordinator of asset management for the TRCA, wanted to share the benefits derived by his department as a result of completing this process.

Association of Municipal Emergency Medical Services of Ontario, Provincial Annual Conference (AMEMSO), Huntsvile, Ontario - FCO was a strong presence at the AMEMSO conference with A. King and J. Lyon of FCO first on the agenda presenting about the ‘Police and EMS (PEMS) Vehicle Idling Reduction Demonstration Project’ and the resulting new technology HIRS™ (Hybrid Idle Reduction System). A PEMS test ambulance vehicle from the County of Simcoe EMS was on display to showcase HIRS™. FCO also hosted an indoor booth meeting with attendees to share project information and answer questions.

RET Electric Vehicle Show, Electric Vehicles Showcase, Windsor, Ontario - R. Smith returned to the Renewable Energy Technology (RET) Centre showcasing electric vehicles and charging stations. The PEMS project Windsor police car was among the outdoor displays and PEMS project supporters, the University of Windsor, were among the organizers. This event garnered local television and newspaper coverage.
