Chris HillChris Hill has been named President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada (EMC) effective January 1, 2012. EMC is a not-for-profit industry association whose vision is to "move Canada’s transportation system to electric traction."

Hill has over 30 years of experience in the private and public  sectors and is currently the Manager of the Central Fleet for the City of Hamilton, Ontario, a position he has held since 2004. Previouly he held fleet responsibilities with the Cities of Hamilton and Toronto as well as with GE Capital. 

Chris has a B.A., Faculty of Arts from York University, an M.B.A. from the Faculty of Management, University of Toronto and is a Certified Management Consultant from the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Ontario. He continues to play a meaningful role in the National Association of Fleet Administrators, as well as several other organizations.

 

"Although I am leaving fleet management, I am not leaving the fleet world, which has begun to make significant commitments to electric vehicles," said Hill.
